The Gnomon Workshop - Creating 3D character illustration with Style

The Gnomon Workshop has released a new seminar by Amy Sharpe, a freelance senior character 3D artist, related to the creation of a stylized character illustration using software such as ZBrush, Maya, Marvelous Designer, and Substance Painter.

In this workshop, you can learn the process of designing a character and bringing it to life, as Amy Sharpe will demonstrate her own workflow and the adaptation of some of the popular production techniques to quicken and clean each stage.

It starts with the concept sketch in photoshop, then sculpting in ZBrush, following the process of creating the character garment cloth in Marvelous Designer, doing Retopology, creating UVS in Maya, texturing in Substance Painter, and finalizing the image in Photoshop. This workshop is considered a late beginner to intermediate level. To learn more about this new Gnomon’s workshop CLICK HERE!
